At First Methodist Preschool, we provide a nurturing, part-time early childhood education program for toddlers and preschoolers. Our faith-based approach encourages exploration, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.

Program Details

👶 Age Groups: Based on age as of Sept. 1 (children stay with their class all year).

📚 Curriculum: Hands-on, faith-based learning through play, creativity, music, and movement.

🎨 Special Activities: Indoor play areas, music & art classes, and engaging enrichment programs.

🕘 Class Schedules: Choose 2, 3, or 4 days per week (9:00 AM – 2:30 PM).

☀️ Early Bird Drop-Off: Available from 7:45 AM for children 18 months+.

🔒 Safety First: Upgraded security and a secure learning environment.

Age Groups

Toddlers - (Ages 12m to 23m)
Toddlers enjoy added activities, including morning circle time with songs and finger plays. They develop fine & gross motor skills through puzzles, blocks, climbing, and riding toys
Preschool Program (Ages 2-5)
Our preschool offers learning centers & interactive materials that build pre-phonics, math, reading & writing skills. Kids enjoy circle time, social skill development, and guidance from experienced/certified teachers.
Enrolment Process

📚 Step 1: Review the Parent Handbook
Before enrolling, please review our Parent Handbook to understand our policies and procedures.

📝 Step 2: Complete & Submit Required Documents
Email the following to tara.sutherland@templemethodist.org:
✔️ Completed Enrollment Form
✔️ Immunization Records
✔️ Doctor’s Medical Release Note

📩 Step 3: Application Review

  • If accepted, you’ll receive an invite to create a Brightwheel account.
  • If placed on a waiting list, you will be notified.

💳 Step 4: Secure Your Spot
Once accepted, pay the registration fee via Brightwheel within 24 hours to confirm enrollment.
